This week, I'm doing something a bit different.

I wanted to share with you the moments that made my week meaningful, inspiring, and thought-provoking. These highlights are like little jewels that have reminded me of life's beauty despite the chaos.

I'm calling it "7 Highlights of My Week".

These are seven insights, reflections, and actionable items with you – they are highlights from my week that have left me feeling grateful, inspired, and challenged. I can't help but pass this on to my dear friend.

Feel free to forward it if you feel the same.

I.

Nature and Self-Discovery - The impact of Nature and Self-Discovery.

A poem “Everything Shimmers” written by Naja Marie Aidt.

This piece reminds us of how easy it is to forget our true selves and the capabilities we possess in the midst of life's chaos and turmoil.

All it takes is a small reminder, or a "little call," to reconnect us with our existence and inner richness. Nature, understanding ourselves, and appreciating the power of small moments in life can bring us joy and self-discovery.

II.

Momentum and Commitment - No matter how hard we strive to stick to a system or form habits, life is full of slips despite our best intentions.

As Kamal Ravikant puts it in his book "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It"

"To fall and get up is part of the contract of being alive.

To keep the momentum going, it is important to have an activity that you remain committed to and never compromise on, no matter the slip-ups.

For me, that activity is prayer and meditation.

III.

Prioritization and Intentionality - A quote that I reflected:

“Remember that if you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will.

This is a reminder that we have a choice in how we spend our time and energy. If you don't take the time to be intentional about what you want to accomplish and how you want to use your time, other people may make those decisions for you.

That is living a life by default, not by design.

IV.

Navigating Relationships - A podcast I listened to that I pondered upon.

Friendship can be tricky, but the long-lasting joy they bring is totally worth it! What tips and tricks can we use to make sure our friendships remain strong, even when times get tough?

Explore these thought-provoking questions to evaluate the importance you place on your relationships.

Would you be willing to let a friendship go if it was for their own good?

Snippets from the Show:

“You must be willing to lose a friendship for the sake of their salvation.”

V.

On Power of Words and Positivity - “Be impeccable with your word.”

The power of words should be used to express truth and love for ourselves and others. Avoid negative language when referring to ourselves and never use words to harm others.

Mel Robbins suggests we should learn to laugh at our flaws and try to improve them. The negative words we use towards others will come back to us, harming both parties.

VI.

Emotional Well-being and Inner Calmness - A Twitter post that struck a chord with me.

Happiness is a fleeting emotion. That’s why it's so easy to get caught up in searching for joy that we neglect to be grateful for the small things in life. When we are tranquil and mindful, we can manage anything that comes our way more easily.

VII.

On Entrepreneurship and Perseverance - Sharing my insights with the world.

This is personal to me because this speaks the truth about my current undertakings as an entrepreneur.

The hard part, like Alex Hormozi said, “Having your idea almost die every day. Trying. Waiting. Seeing it not work. Learning. Trying again. “

I'd love to hear your feedback! Which of the highlights above do you like the most? What would you like more or less of? Do you have any other suggestions? Please let me know by sending a tweet to @megzcatareena with #7Things at the end.

Have a great week ahead!!

Always,

Katie
